Before you start, we highly recommend you read our application Guidelines page. It provides you with essential information as to who can or cannot apply, along with general guidance in relation to filling in the online application form below.

All questions can be viewed in advance by scrolling down this page. Please note - You may find it easier to go through the questions on this page in advance and save your answers in a separate document. When ready, return to this page to fill in and submit your application.

  • Part A - General Information

  • If you could broadly categorise your project into a particular theme or area, what would it be? (e.g. education, arts and culture, community development, etc). If you feel your project's theme is not listed, or fits into more than one category, please specify the other themes in the box under the next question below for 'Other'
  • Website must begin with "http://" If you have any technical issues inserting your website here, please include your website address under "Social Media", directly below.
  • Part B - Project Proposal

  • What is the main aim of your project?
  • What is the current situation? Tell us what the problem is and describe what you already know. Where are we now in resolving the issue? Highlight the problem you are addressing – the reality of the current situation, facts and any statistics.
  • Describe the issue. What is the underlying problem? What is the reason why this issue requires action? What has changed and what is the impact? Who does it affect and why hasn't someone solved it yet? You must clearly highlight the complication and provide information on the opportunity.
  • How are you going to solve the problem? This will be your proposal for how to resolve the complication. This will be the substance of your main point. This is where you explain what you need to do, or have done already, and what needs to be done to address the complication.
  • Part C - Wider Support

  • 'Network of partners' refers to the collective donors and supporters listed on our partners page at www.stephenlloydawards.org/partners. Could your project benefit from any technical support such as business planning, legal advice, HR, IT, financial, mentoring, etc.
  • Part D - Financial Justification

  • Part E - Supporting Information
